Method 1: Verify your printer’s connection.

4. Examine the Print Spooler service.

Your computer’s Print Spooler service manages your print jobs as well as the communication between your printer and your computer. If you disable this service, your Epson printer will not function properly. You should inspect the service to ensure that it is operational.

What exactly are print jobs?
When you try to print a file, your computer will save it as a print job in the print queue (a queue of print jobs that will be printed) of your printer. When a print job in the queue becomes stuck, it prevents the other print jobs in the queue from being printed.

To clear your print jobs, follow these steps:


1) To open the Run box, press the Windows logo key and R at the same time on your keyboard.
2) On your keyboard, type “services.msc” and press Enter. This brings up the Services window.
3) Select Print Spooler and double-click it.
4) Select Stop and then OK.
5) Close the Services window. Then launch File Explorer (on your keyboard, press the Windows logo key and E at the same time).
6) Paste the following address into the address bar and press Enter on your keyboard to navigate to the location where the print jobs are saved.

7) Remove all files from this folder.
8) Bring back the Services window. Then click the Print Spooler service twice.
9) Press the Begin button. After starting the service, click OK to save the change and close this dialogue.
10) Close all open windows and shut down your computer.

11) Unplug your printer’s power cord and turn it off.

12) Wait at least one minute before using your printer.

13) Connect your printer’s power cable and turn it on.

14) Start your computer. Then verify that your Epson printer can print.

Method 6: Print your document using a different program.
